Trigger on item price updates in SAP B1
The workflow starts when item prices are updated in SAP Business One, using a scheduled trigger that checks for updated records every 3 minutes.
Decision: Check if product exists in Shopify
Evaluates the SAP B1 item's U_WebID field to determine if the item is already linked to a Shopify product.
Create new product in Shopify and update pricing
If the product does not exist in Shopify, a new product is created using the item name. SAP B1 is then updated with the Shopify product and variant IDs (U_WebID, U_VarId) and last price. Finally, the Shopify variant pricing is updated.
Update existing product pricing in Shopify
If the product already exists in Shopify, the variant pricing is updated directly using the stored Shopify IDs. SAP B1 is then updated with the last price for tracking.
Decision: Check if product exists in Pipedrive
Evaluates the SAP B1 item's U_PipeID field to determine if the item is already linked to a Pipedrive product.
Create new product in Pipedrive
If the product does not exist in Pipedrive, currency information is fetched from Airtable, then a new product is created in Pipedrive with the item code, name, description, and pricing. SAP B1 is updated with the Pipedrive product ID (U_PipeID) and last price.
Update existing product pricing in Pipedrive
If the product already exists in Pipedrive, currency information is fetched from Airtable, then the Pipedrive product pricing is updated. SAP B1 is updated with the last price for tracking.
Filter significant price changes
A code step filters items where the price has changed by 30% or more compared to the last recorded price, identifying significant pricing movements.
Send email alert for significant price changes
Filtered items are aggregated and a Gmail notification is sent containing item codes, new prices, and previous prices to alert stakeholders of significant pricing changes.
