Amazon FBA stock and Dynamics 365 Business Central inventory drift apart unless someone exports FBA reports and keys in adjustments by hand. This template pulls FBA inventory summaries from Amazon Seller Central, matches items to Business Central on ASIN through Item References, creates unposted item journal lines for the items that need an adjustment and sends unmatched items to Microsoft Teams as exceptions.

How the template works
The FBA inventory summary for each item is matched to Business Central on ASIN, and unmatched items go to Microsoft Teams as exceptions. For matched items, the workflow checks existing journal data, calculates the quantity, creates unposted item journal lines and reports the run by email and Teams.
Match items on ASIN
Business Central Item References, where the reference number holds the ASIN, are read and joined to the Amazon items.
Send unmatched items to Microsoft Teams
Items with no match in Business Central are posted to a Teams channel as exceptions so the Item Reference can be fixed. The run stops for these items.
Check journal data and calculate quantities
For matched items, the workflow reads the item master and the lines already in the item journal batch. It keeps only the items that need a journal line and calculates the quantity for each.
Create item journal lines
Item journal lines are created in the batch but not posted, so finance reviews them before posting.
Report the run
OpenAI writes a short narrative around the report figures and Microsoft Outlook emails it. A summary is posted to Microsoft Teams in parallel.
