What This Workflow Does
When a gift card is spent online, the in-store balance in Lightspeed Retail X stays too high unless someone adjusts it. This template starts on each new Shopify order, finds the linked card through Airtable, checks it in both systems and posts the gift card transaction in Lightspeed Retail X.

Inside the flow
How the template works
When a new Shopify order is placed, the flow reads its payments and finds the linked gift card in Airtable. If the Lightspeed Retail X card is found, it posts a gift card transaction for the amount spent and updates the Airtable record.
Read the payments
The order's transactions are pulled from Shopify and put into a consistent format, showing whether a gift card was used.
Find the linked card
The flow looks up the Airtable record that links the Shopify gift card to its Lightspeed Retail X card.
Check both cards
The gift card is fetched from Shopify and from Lightspeed Retail X. If the Lightspeed Retail X card is not found, the flow stops with no changes.
Post the transaction
A gift card transaction for the amount spent online is created in Lightspeed Retail X.
Update the link record
The Airtable record is updated so it stays in step with both systems.
