A retail catalogue is built in the point of sale first, and only part of it belongs online. Getting the web-eligible items into Shopify usually means someone re-keying names, SKUs, prices, and variants, checking by hand whether a listing already exists, and remembering to hit publish. The cost is a storefront that lags the shop floor and fills up with duplicate and half-built listings. This template does that transfer on creation instead.

When Shopify returns a match, appse ai updates the product record and its variants so the listing carries the current name, attributes, and price from Lightspeed XRetail. In-store and online pricing stay aligned without a manual reconciliation pass.
When no match comes back, appse ai creates the product in Shopify from the Lightspeed XRetail payload. The item enters the storefront catalogue with its source data intact rather than being typed in a second time.
appse ai updates the default variant so the product carries a valid variant structure, then publishes it to the storefront. Shoppers never land on a newly created listing with a missing size, an empty option set, or an unpublished status.
