The flow starts automatically the moment Magento detects a new order, initiating the Magento to SAP Business One order sync instantly without manual intervention or periodic polling through automated Magento ERP integration.
Customer Type Identification
The system identifies whether the order was placed by a guest customer or a registered customer, routing each order type through the appropriate processing logic for accurate ERP mapping and data handling.
Order Validation and Duplicate Prevention
For guest orders, the system searches SAP Business One by order reference and checks for existing duplicates. For registered customers, it searches the sales order, checks for duplicates, and retrieves the linked Business Partner record, ensuring every order is processed cleanly and only once.
Sales Order Creation in SAP Business One
If the order is confirmed as new, a sales order is automatically created in SAP Business One with all order details mapped accurately through Magento SAP Business One order integration.
Order ID Write-Back and Payment Sync
The SAP order ID is synced back to Magento to link both records, and any incoming payment or cash payment is created in SAP as needed, completing the full order-to-payment cycle automatically.
