Trading partners judge a supplier on the accuracy of the stock file they receive, and most stock files are still assembled by hand: an export from the ERP, a spreadsheet that applies a buffer, an upload someone remembers to run. The numbers are stale before they land, and one bad cycle count broadcast as zero can take a listing down. This template builds, screens, and files the EDI 846 on a schedule.

OpenAI compares the calculated availability against the previous run before anything is transmitted. A SKU that drops from a healthy quantity to zero between two runs is treated as a probable cycle-count error and held back, so a warehouse mistake does not reach the partner as a stock-out.
The validated payload is structured into the X12 846 hierarchy, including the BIA, LIN, and QTY segments the standard requires, and delivered into the trading partner's inbound directory over SFTP. The file arrives in the format the partner's system expects with no manual mapping step in between.
Clean updates transmit silently. When a SKU falls below its configured threshold, appse ai posts an alert to the account manager in Microsoft Teams so the buyer relationship can be managed before the listing runs dry rather than after.
