The workflow starts when new customers are created in Shopify, using a scheduled trigger that checks for new records every 3 minutes.
Evaluates the Shopify customer's tags to determine if a Pipedrive person ID is already stored. If tags do not exist, the customer is new to Pipedrive.
If no Pipedrive ID is found in tags, a new person is created in Pipedrive with the customer's first name, last name, email address, and phone number, linked to the default organization.
After creating the person in Pipedrive, the Shopify customer's tags are updated with the Pipedrive person ID for cross-reference tracking.
If a Pipedrive ID already exists in the customer's tags, the existing Pipedrive person is updated with the latest name, email, and phone from Shopify.
