About Nextron International
Nextron International is a customer of APPSeCONNECT. appse ai is APPSeCONNECT's own product, built with significantly more advanced automation and AI capabilities. This case study has been adapted to reflect how Nextron International's use case would run on appse ai today.
Nextron International is a Nordic manufacturer and distributor of IT infrastructure, data center, and AI compute solutions, operating across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Running one Salesforce org against local operations in four countries, Nextron needed its CRM and ERP data to stay consistent across every market without collapsing each country's own rules into a single generic setup.
The operational challenge
Nextron ran a single Salesforce org against four separate SAP Business One databases, one per country, and the two layers were not working as one system. Teams recreated the same account and contact data across multiple places, country-specific SAP B1 setups and local fields meant a one-size-fits-all connector could not hold, and without clear ownership rules, products and pricing risked getting duplicated or contradicted across the four databases. Nextron needed an integration built for exactly this shape: one CRM, four ERPs, and strict country logic on every sync.
The problem
Running one Salesforce org against four country-specific SAP Business One databases surfaced three specific problems for Nextron:
- 01
One CRM, four ERP databases
Data had to move between one Salesforce org and four different SAP B1 databases, so teams spent time recreating the same account and contact data in multiple places. Country-wise rules increased the chance of wrong routing, and reporting got messy whenever records drifted between systems.
- 02
Country-specific rules inside every flow
Each country had its own SAP B1 setup and local fields, so a one-size-fits-all connector could not match the reality across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Data mapping needed country-wise logic on every sync, and small mismatches created rework for sales and operations teams.
- 03
Data ownership needed clear boundaries
Products and pricing could easily get duplicated across systems. Pricing conflicts showed up when more than one system tried to act as the source of truth, product records could get created twice with different formats, and teams lost trust in the numbers they saw in Salesforce.
This is the exact pattern appse ai exists to remove: one CRM feeding four ERPs with no country-aware routing and no single owner for shared master data, leaving sales teams to work around numbers they could not fully trust.
Why appse ai
Nextron needed an integration that could route data correctly across four country-specific SAP B1 databases from a single Salesforce org, enforce country-wise logic on every sync, and give products and pricing one clear owner, not a generic connector that treated every country the same way.
appse ai set up a Salesforce-to-SAP-Business-One integration connecting one Salesforce org with four SAP B1 databases, with strict routing and rules enforced per country, plus a single enforced source of truth for products and pricing out of Norway.
The solution — country-aware, two-way workflows across accounts, products & quotations
Instead of manually re-keying data into four SAP B1 databases, appse ai deployed always-on, country-routed workflows across Nextron's full CRM-to-ERP cycle:
- Account & contact sync with country routing
Salesforce Accounts sync to SAP B1 Business Partners with country routing logic, and Salesforce Contacts sync into the correct country's SAP B1 database, removing the need to recreate the same records by hand across four systems.
- Two-way updates for business partners, contacts & addresses
SAP B1 Business Partner and contact updates sync back into Salesforce, and billing and shipping addresses maintained in SAP B1 sync to Salesforce with proper hierarchy, keeping both layers current in either direction.
- Products & pricing controlled from Norway
Products are mastered exclusively in the Norway SAP B1 database; items and pricing sync from Norway SAP B1 into Salesforce and its Pricebooks, giving Nextron one enforced owner for shared master data instead of four competing sources.
- Quotations & opportunities synced for sales teams
SAP B1 Quotations sync into Salesforce, and Salesforce Opportunities are created and updated based on those SAP B1 Quotations, keeping sales visibility current across every country.
- Hosted monitoring & error handling built for production
Central monitoring runs in a hosted setup, with retry support and audit logs tracking what moved, when, and where, across all four country flows.
Each workflow runs as a closed loop: detect the event in one system, resolve it against the correct country database and its rules, execute the update, and only surface an exception to a human when judgment is genuinely required.
The results
With country-aware, two-way workflows keeping one Salesforce org and four SAP Business One databases in sync, Nextron closed the gap across every Nordic market:
- Less manual entry across Salesforce and SAP B1 teams in every country.
- Cleaner data across regions, with clear ownership rules for products and pricing.
- Better sales visibility across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
- A single enforced source of truth for products and pricing, mastered from Norway SAP B1.
- SAP B1 quotations flowing straight into Salesforce opportunities for sales teams.
- Central monitoring, retries, and audit-trail support for production reliability.
- A setup ready to add more countries later without rebuilding the integration.
