About Latitude 64
Latitude 64 is a Swedish disc golf manufacturer founded in 2005 in Skellefteå by David Berglund, Tomas Ekström, Svante Eriksson, and Johan Åström. It sells to consumers and to trade buyers such as retailers and distributors through Shopify Plus, and runs its back-office operations on SAP Business One.
The Operational Challenge
Latitude 64 runs two commercial models on one storefront: direct-to-consumer and B2B. With Shopify Plus and SAP Business One working as separate systems, online sales were cut off from after-sales, supply chain, and finance in the ERP. B2B added more complexity: trade accounts, their contacts, and their multiple shipping and billing addresses had to be kept aligned between the ERP and the storefront. The team needed a low-code platform that could connect both systems quickly and cover both business models.
The Problem
Running B2C and B2B on disconnected commerce and ERP systems created specific gaps for Latitude 64:
- 01
Data Silos
Sales orders, items, inventory, shipments, invoices, and payments could not be accessed across Shopify Plus and SAP Business One.
- 02
Lagging Stock Levels
Inventory in Shopify Plus was not updated in real time from SAP Business One.
- 03
B2B Accounts Out of Sync
Companies and contacts maintained in SAP Business One did not reach Shopify Plus.
- 04
Multi-Address Complexity
B2B companies with multiple addresses were hard to keep aligned in Shopify Plus.
- 05
Manual Data Entry
Moving data between systems by hand cost time and introduced duplication and human error.
This is the exact pattern appse ai exists to remove: a manufacturer selling both direct and to trade on one storefront, where every disconnected record hits stock accuracy, B2B account management, and the back office at once.
Why appse ai
Latitude 64 needed a low-code automation platform that could connect Shopify Plus and SAP Business One quickly, handle both B2C and B2B flows, and support B2B-specific data such as companies, contacts, and multiple addresses.
appse ai provided a pre-built Shopify Plus ↔ SAP Business One connector with ready-to-use integration packages, then customised the integration to cover Latitude 64's B2C and B2B requirements, including real-time stock updates and B2B company and contact sync.
The solution: one integration for B2C and B2B
Instead of managing two business models across disconnected systems, appse ai deployed automated workflows across Latitude 64's Shopify Plus and SAP Business One stack:
- B2C and B2B Order Sync
Both consumer and trade orders are synchronised between Shopify Plus and SAP Business One, linking online sales to after-sales, supply chain, and finance.
- Real-Time Stock Updates
Inventory updates flow from SAP Business One to Shopify Plus in real time.
- B2B Company & Contact Sync
Companies and contacts sync automatically from SAP Business One to Shopify Plus.
- Multi-Address Handling
Multiple addresses for B2B companies are handled within the integration.
- Fulfilment & Finance Data
Items, shipments, invoices, and payments are included in the integration scope.
- Customised Configuration
Pre-built connector packages were configured and extended to match Latitude 64's processes.
Each workflow runs as a closed loop: detect the event in one system, resolve it against the other, execute the update, and only surface an exception to a human when judgment is required.
