About Holyrood Distillery

Founded in 2019 and based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Holyrood Distillery is a craft distillery named Distiller of the Year at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards, running WooCommerce as its e-commerce platform alongside SAP Business One as its ERP.

The Operational Challenge

As the business scaled, running WooCommerce and SAP Business One as disconnected systems created operational friction. Manual inventory updates caused stock mismatches and overselling. Product data grew inconsistent between systems due to tedious manual syncing. Order processing delays from manual SAP Business One entry created fulfillment bottlenecks.
