El Ryan is the first online eCommerce store in Iraq and one of the largest sellers of consumer electronics in the country. It offers a wide range of home appliances and electronics, including air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators, and is known for its shipping process.
The Operational Challenge
El Ryan sells online through Magento and runs its back office on Microsoft Dynamics AX. The two systems were not connected, so every online order had to be re-entered in the ERP, and item information had to be maintained in both places.
