About Comfortel
Comfortel is an Australian salon furniture and equipment manufacturer known for design-led products for hair, beauty, and barber spaces. Since 1998 it has supplied salons across Australia and New Zealand with styling chairs, wash lounges, barber chairs, trolleys, stools, and mirrors.
It runs its operations on SAP Business One and sells online through a WooCommerce store. Rollout was delivered with implementation partner InSync.
The Operational Challenge
Comfortel sells to salon owners, so every online customer is a trade relationship that belongs in the ERP with the right sales rep attached. Its WooCommerce store and SAP Business One were not connected. Product details, prices, and stock had to be maintained on the storefront separately, web orders had to be re-entered for fulfilment, and new online customers had to be created as Business Partners and assigned to reps by hand. Every manual step added duplicate data and delay.
