About Lintel Investments
Established in 1989, Lintel Investments and Management Services Pvt. Ltd. is a Maldivian-owned company and one of the country's leading distributors of luxury perfumes, skincare, cosmetics and jewelry, alongside consumer and professional electronics, leather goods and fashion accessories. Its flagship store, Le Cute, has been transformed into a beauty boutique with a wider, higher-quality product range. Lintel runs eight outlets nationwide across travel retail, retail, resort boutiques, electronics and B2B.
The Operational Challenge
Lintel expanded rapidly over 20 years, running Magento as its storefront and SAP Business One as its back-end ERP. The two systems didn't talk to each other. Payment details from the Bank of Maldives gateway had to be carried manually into shipping, stock in Magento didn't reflect what was actually available in specific SAP warehouses, and web orders were hard to track inside SAP B1. Manual data entry and duplicate records slowed fulfillment exactly when a growing multi-channel business needed it to be fast.
The problem
Running Magento and SAP Business One as disconnected systems surfaced four specific problems for Lintel Investments:
- 01
Payment-to-Shipping Gap
Online payment details from the payment gateway (Bank of Maldives) had to be moved into shipping manually, adding a hand-off step between a confirmed payment and a dispatched order.
- 02
Warehouse-Blind Stock Levels
Magento stock wasn't synced in real time from SAP B1 based on availability in specific warehouses, so the storefront couldn't reliably show what was actually sellable.
- 03
Slow Web Order Tracking and Fulfillment
Web orders couldn't be tracked quickly inside SAP Business One, slowing the entire order fulfillment cycle.
- 04
Manual Entry and Duplicate Data
Re-keying data between the storefront and the ERP created manual workload and duplicate records.
This is the exact pattern appse ai exists to remove: a fast-growing, multi-outlet luxury retailer whose payments, warehouse stock and web orders sat in separate systems, with staff bridging the gap by hand.
Why appse ai
Lintel needed a platform that could bring storefront and ERP "under the same roof": bi-directional, real-time sync with deep, customizable integration, room to scale with eCommerce growth and geographic expansion, and a quick, affordable implementation.
appse ai delivered end-to-end mapping between Magento and SAP Business One business objects, including custom product and business partner attributes, with fully automated, real-time bi-directional sync and a scalable foundation for further channel and outlet growth.
The solution: automated stock, order & payment-to-shipping sync
Instead of re-keying orders and chasing stock mismatches, appse ai deployed four automated workflows across Lintel's order-to-fulfillment cycle:
- Warehouse-Aware Real-Time Inventory Sync
Stock flows automatically from SAP Business One to Magento based on availability in specific warehouses, so the storefront reflects what can actually ship.
- Automated Sales Order Processing
Every web transaction creates a sales order in SAP Business One automatically, making web orders instantly trackable in the ERP.
- Payment, Shipping and Billing Sync
Payment details from the Bank of Maldives gateway, along with shipping and billing data, sync automatically into the fulfillment flow, removing the manual hand-off.
- Master Data and Custom Attribute Sync
Items, customers and custom attributes for products and business partners stay synchronized through end-to-end object mapping, eliminating duplicate records.
Each workflow runs as a closed loop: detect the event in one system, resolve it against the other, execute the update, and only surface an exception to a human when judgment is genuinely required.
The results
- Order fulfillment cycle optimized by up to 60%
- Complete elimination of manual data entry and reduced data duplication
- Significant time and resource savings from efficient real-time data exchange
- Streamlined business operations and improved efficiency in sales and inventory management
- Improved end-customer satisfaction
- Higher employee productivity, with a platform built to support continued growth and geographic expansion
InSync implementation and support teams has been very reliable and easy to work with. Would like to particularly highlight Team InSync's hard work and prompt response in resolving all issues faced during implementation.
